Rest For The Weary

What abundant showers has the Lord blessed you with? Have you offered your thankfulness for all that He has done?

Let's look at Psalm 68:9 to see how the Lord pours out His blessings and refreshes us when we are weary.




Psalm 68:9 NIV 




You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance.




1. The Lord gave abundant showers 




This is referring to His blessing the Israelites with manna, quail, water, etc as they wandered the wilderness




- What blessings do you see that He has poured out upon your life?

2. He refreshes His weary inheritance 




This is referring to offering the Israelites protection from their enemies




- Do you need rest ( protection ) from the struggles in your life? Turn your cares over to the Lord.




Prayer:




Dear Father, 




Thank you for the many blessings that you have poured out upon my life. Thank you for helping me with my struggles and for giving me time to rest. In Jesus' name, Amen.
