Believe and Follow

Are you weary? Are you looking for a place to rest?

In Isaiah 28:12, we learn how to find our resting place.




Isaiah 28:12 NIV 




to whom he said, “This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and, “This is the place of repose”— but they would not listen.




In this verse, the prophet is speaking of rest and comfort that comes from following God and keeping His commands. The people, at this time, had a hard time with this. They did not listen to the commands that had been repeated on more than one occasion. And now, they need rest and cannot find it.

The Lord offers us, the weary, a resting place and a place of repose. All we need to do is believe in Him and follow where He leads us.





Prayer: 




Dear Father, 




Here I am. I am weary. Please grant me a resting place. Father, help me to always follow where You lead. In Jesus' name, Amen.
