Don't Struggle Alone

When things get overwhelming for you, who do you turn to? Do you struggle when it comes to asking others to pray for you?

Today has not been great for me, so far. I woke up at some point during the night, to roll over, and realized that I had a major headache.

I need to ask you for prayers. I really struggle when it comes to asking others to pray for me, so please forgive me for that. You know that I have been studying about marriage and praying over my marriage for the past month, right? Well, I am starting to notice signs of our being attacked.

Just A Bucket Of Fish

Tim is dealing with a lot more stress in his job. Every 4th week or so, he is on call. That means that when issues arise even at 2 am, he has to get up to fix it. Well, he has had a few times, recently, that he was tasked with migrating something (it's all mumbo jumbo unless you are a tech person), clean something up and then migrating back. He explained it as having a bucket of fish. He moves the fish to another bucket so he can clean up the original bucket. However, he messed up and dumped out the bucket with all the fish. The fish in this story are all fine and everything continues on as normal. Until yesterday when something that he was taking care of crashed. It was a fluke, but his boss treated him like it was all his fault and that he keeps making mistakes, yada yada yada. It is just a lot of stress for him.

Then there is me. Headaches are becoming a normal thing for me. Is it due to secondary adrenal insufficiency or fibromyalgia? That is a good question. All I know is that I have at least one day a week that I wake up with a major headache and it lasts the majority of the day.

Please Pray

As I stated above I have a hard time asking others for prayers. I know that I need accountability in this area. I am hoping that you will help me with this.

Please send up those prayers. Thank you for your time, support, and encouragement.

Philippians 1:3 NIV

I thank my God every time I remember you.

Dear Father, thank You for always being with me. Thank You for the friend that is reading this right now. Help her to know that she truly is a blessing. I thank You every time that I think of her. Thank You for all that You do. In Jesus' name, Amen.
