What are you struggling with, right here, in this moment? Marriage struggles? Parenting struggles? Job related struggles?
I want to remind you to stop, take a deep breath and slowly let it out. Remember that it can be easier to handle your struggles when you think of them as a season in your life. A season, of course, being a short amount of time that something takes place.
Below is the original post that I shared back in 2018.
As I helped him pull up his hair and pin it in place, I was struck by something. I always wanted to help someone brush their hair, pull it up and whatever else I could manage to do. However, I always thought it would be for a daughter, or maybe a granddaughter.

Things Don't Often Go As Planned
As I helped him pull up his hair and pin it in place, I was struck by something. I always wanted to help someone brush their hair, pull it up and whatever else I could manage to do. However, I always thought it would be for a daughter, or maybe a granddaughter.
I was in the process of helping Jacob with his hair. He is my youngest at 20 years of age. He is the musician of the family. His hair is longer than it has ever been, but today is his first day working at Domino's.
He doesn't like thinking that he has to do anything other than play music, but I try to remind him that it is just for a time. Just long enough for him to get his feet back under him, save some money back up and then he can pursue other dreams.

Time Still Moves Forward
No matter what we face in our lives, it is easier to handle if we can think of it as just a season. God has us there for a reason. Grow where you are. Depend on Him and don't miss the blessings that He blesses you with.
Time has continued to move forward as it tends to do. Jacob is no longer working for Domino's. He did not like that job.
He is still playing bass guitar and loving every minute of it. He has even ventured into taking pictures and videos. He gets so excited just talking about this aspect of things :).
Ecclesiastes 3:1

Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the heavens.
Prayer:
Dear Father,
Thank you for everything that you continue to do for me. Please help me to remember that you have me where I am, right now, for a reason. You have me in this season of my life to draw me closer to you. There is a season for everything, a time for every purpose under the heavens (Ecclesiastes3:1). In Jesus' name, Amen.
Give Thanks Anyway
I Am Here With You
Be Thankful No Matter What You Face
About Me
