2. Pick your favorite pen and/or pens

3. Read over the selected verses

4. Write out the selected verses

5. Did something in these verses stand out to you? Write it down; highlight it, etc.

6. SOAP the verse(s) that spoke to you and share them with me

7.  Share a picture of your handwritten work with me

S:

Jude 1:6 NIV

And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

O:

The angels did not keep their positions of authority <---- this is saying that they thought themselves higher than their station, worthy of more
The angels abandoned their proper dwelling <--- God had freely given them their places of dwelling, but that was not enough for some of the angels
He kept these angels in darkness and everlasting chains <--- the angels were punished; they had freedom, but thought they deserved more; their sins were pride and rebellion
The great Day of judgment <--- the day when we will stand before God and face judgment for all that we have done; the angels face this same judgment

A:

Be thankful for all that you have
Give thanks always
Remember that the Lord provides
He has you where you are for a reason

P:

Prayer:

Dear Father,

Thank you so much for all that You have done for me. Father, please help me to remember that You provide for all of my needs, no matter what I am going through in my life. Thank You for always being there. In Jesus' name, Amen.
