SOAP Study Part2

Welcome back to the breakdown of the SOAP Study Method.

Today, I am going to "focus" on the "O" in SOAP.

O - is for observation. This is where you observe what is being said. What was interesting about the verse? What did you learn? What did God reveal to you?

Here is the verse again:

Psalm 127:2 NIV

In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.

Write out the things that speak to you. Write out the the parts of these verses that God is using to reveal something to you.

Here is what I see:

O:

In a vain attempt to accomplish more in my day, I get up early and I stay up late
I work hard, struggling at times, for food to eat
The Lord cares enough about me that he grants me sleep

Write down anything that the Lord reveals to you in this step and keep it close. You will need these notes, next week, as I explain the "A" of SOAP.
