Praying Scripture For Comfort

Are you hurting today? Do you know that God loves you no matter what?

I have no idea what you are struggling with right now. I just want to remind you that you are not alone.




It is easy to take the pain that you are feeling, wrap yourself up in it, and hide away.

No Need To Hide

You do not need to hide away. I know it can be hard to remember, but Jesus told us in John 16:33 NIV “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”




Whenever I think of this verse, it helps me because I know that He didn't promise me that things would be easy. He said that I would have trouble, but <--- and that is a big but, He has overcome the world and it's troubles. That does bring me so much peace.

Let's take this verse and turn it into a personal prayer.



John 16:33 NIV 



“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”



Prayer: 



Dear Father, 




Thank you for I know that you have told _________ these things, so that because of you, _______ may have peace. In this world ________ will have trouble. But _______ should take heart. You have overcome the world (John 16:33). In Jesus' name, Amen.
