Headaches, body aches, no energy, these are the things that I deal with on a daily basis. Luckily, I have medication that "helps" with the energy enough to keep me going.
My headaches, well, I now take two different medications to try and prevent them from happening. The second med, I have only been taking a few weeks. So far, it causes me stomach issues and I still have bad headaches.
Needless to say, I am tired all of the time. I find myself needing to rest. There have even been moments that my head hurts so much that all I want to do is lay down and "get off of my head". Of course, meaning that I need to stop thinking for a while and I need to stop reading.
Are you tired? Do you know that the Lord is waiting there to refresh you? He promises to refresh the weary and to satisfy the faint. All you need to do is believe.
Below are 7 more verses on Rest. I challenge you to spend the next 7 days going through these verses. Pick one verse for day one, look it up, write it down in a journal. Meditate on it throughout the day. Then continue on for the rest of the week.

Dear Father,
Thank You. Thank You for being in control of my life. Whenever things get chaotic and out of control around me, it helps to know that You are still there. Whenever I feel exhausted by all of my struggles, I know that I can trust in You to give me rest and to satisfy me when I am faint. Thank You so much. In Jesus' name, Amen.
