Anxiety, What Does The Bible Say?

Do you struggle with anxiety? Are you struggling through a marriage separation?

~ refreshed 5/17/21 ~

If you have read any of my blog posts, over the past three years, you know that I am someone that struggles with anxiety issues.

Anxiety and the New "Normal "

Now, let's move on to the new "normal".

Let's talk about life now.

Life as someone with anxiety and depression, someone that is an introvert (btw) and struggling through a marriage separation.

I have to be honest and admit that it has its moments of stress. I keep trying to put one foot in front of the other. However, if I am honest, most days, I feel like I am just going through the motions.

I try to focus on one minute at a time. Strive to stay afloat for that moment and then when that moment passes, I focus on the next one.

I have had several panic attacks since T left me. I do not handle things well by myself. I do not like making decisions alone. I like to have someone to talk to about things, while I pray through a situation.

So, how do you handle stress like that? How do you calm yourself down from panic attacks?

I grabbed some index cards and pens and tried to recall 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 enough to write it out. Memorizing long passages of scripture has been my "focus" for a while now. So writing these verses out really helps to calm me down and refocus my thoughts.

Anxiety Bible Reading Plan

I have refreshed the 30 day Bible Reading/Writing Plan on Anxiety. You are more than welcome to pin it. Or you can print it out. Your choice, whatever works best for you.

  3. Yes ma'am, if you look closely, you will see that it is chapter 11. It went down to the next line. So it is Matthew 11:28-30. Thank you for your question. Blessings.
