How many of you live with self doubts? Do you feel like a failure before you even begin something?
This is me, dealing with negative self talk. "Come on, Leigha. Nothing you post matters anyway. Why bother? Nobody is going to read what you share. You are wasting your time."
I know that satan is at work within my thoughts. He really wants to keep me from posting. He doesn't want me to share my thoughts. Why? What difference does it make to him? Oh, I know that answer. It is because, I am trying to share the love of Jesus with you by sharing things He has done for me, in my life or has revealed through scripture, prayer, devotionals, etc.
1. I love to blog. I want you to know that I LOVE blogging. I have a hard time thinking of myself as a writer. But I really enjoy blogging.
2. It is lonely work. Being a Christian blogger is lonely work. Oh, how I would love to have someone walk beside me in this venture. Someone that could keep me accountable for things and pray for me as I would for her. However, for the time being, it is something I do alone because I love Jesus and you know what? I do it because I love you, too.
3. It is overwhelming. Being a blogger is completely overwhelming for me. "Click here to boost traffic". "Sign up for this to generate blah blah". My head starts hurting thinking about it all.
4. Take courses; probably not. I have seen some interesting courses that I could sign up for, but no matter how interesting they look, I don't believe they are for me. No, it is not an introvert thing (well not completely), it is money related.
5. I trust the Lord. I want to follow where I feel the Lord is guiding. I will trust in Him and know that He will provide in His time and His way.
