15 Facts About Me

Hello sweet friend. How are things going for you today? I hope that you know how important you are to me.

I thought that I would take a few minutes to share some things about myself with you. Just thought you might find it interesting.

15 Facts About Me 

1. I was born in Alabama. Lived there until I was four years old.
2. Moved to Tennessee and have lived here ever since. Honestly, though, I don't remember those first four years of being in Alabama, so to me, I have always lived in Tennessee.
3. I have one brother and one sister. Never see either of them, though. We did not have a very good home life as children and now as adults, we just aren't that close to one another.
4. I am an introvert. Actually, I tend to be more on the side of having social anxiety. 
5. I love to read. Give me a good book, put me in a comfy chair and I will be good to go.
6. I met Tim in 1986 just before I graduated from high school. We were both working at T.J. Maxx at the time.
7. I have 3 sons. My oldest is Phillip. He is almost 29 and lives in Oklahoma with his wife and son. My middle son is Taylor. He will be 22 this year and will be graduating from Tennessee Tech in May. Jacob is my rock star. He is 20. He and the band just had their CD launch party and are on the cover of our local newspaper.
8. I do not have a friend to speak of. No matter how much I put myself out there and try to make a connection, it just doesn't happen. I may come off stalkery.
9. I struggle with depression a lot. It is something that I have to work on every day.
10. I accepted the Lord as my Savior in 1992. I back away from time to time, but He is always there to welcome me back when I am ready.
11. I had a blog before this one. As far as blogging goes, I don't have a clue as to what I am doing. Well, typing and posting, I get that part, but everything else is overwhelming and I am lost.
12. I taught myself how to crochet back in 2001. I don't do it any more because I have too many pains.
13. I used to run a website/newsletter. Created the site myself. And I can't figure out blogging, what gives? The website was for first time pregnant women. I even matched them up with mentors to help answer their questions.
14. I have 2 dogs. I think that I have only ever mentioned one of them. Their names are Pixie and Penelope. Pixie is a Toy Fox Terrier. She is about 14 years old. Penelope is just a little over a year old. She is part Beagle part Jack Russel and possibly part something else because she is tall.
15. Tim and I have just recently taken up bird watching as a hobby. So far, we are only watching the birds in our backyard, but it so exciting.
