Let The Beauty Shine Through

What is beauty to you? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is only skin deep. Beauty is on the inside. These are all things that I am sure you have heard over the years, but what is beauty to you?

In this stage of my life, I try to pay attention to the little things. The blessings that the Lord reveals to me throughout each day. See each blessing and stop in wonder while giving thanks to the Lord for those few minutes of beauty that He has brought into my day.

My husband and I are dipping our toes into the world of bird watching. Every day, I am amazed by the display of beauty that presents itself at our backyard feeder. On pleasant mornings, I will open the windows and sit and listen to the beauty of song that these little birds are creating.

Beauty is everywhere. I just need to slow down long enough to turn off the negative thoughts and let the beauty shine through.
